Jacob Govero aka Stowaway J
Originally from Festus, Missouri just south of St. Louis. I’ve been married to my wife Jennifer for over 17 years. We met in Springfield, Missouri where I received a B.A in Broadcast Journalism from Missouri State University. She is a graduate of Colorado State University and was the motivation for us moving to Colorado. For the last two years I have hosted The Silver Lining Rockies Report here on Pirate Radio 93.5 FM where we cover the Rockies, Nuggets, Avs, and anything else sports related along the Front Range. I also had the pleasure of providing play by play for The University of Northern Colorado Bears football and men’s basketball programs. I’ve been a freelance sports writer for various publications throughout my career. When I’m not talking sports you can find me selling stone at the Rock Garden in north Ft. Collins or hitting volleyballs somewhere in the sand.
